Magnolia Farmhouse

Owners: Ray & Frances Worrell Mission: One month after we became empty nesters, we purchased Magnolia Farmhouse, named after Frances' grandfather who worked for Magnolia Petroleum in the early 1900s. This was a dream come true for us. Initially, we endeavored to create a unique space to share with others via Airbnb 6 months of the year. Over the years our home has become a place rest and rejuvenation for our family, friends and those who have vacationed there. We have poured our hearts into it with the hopes everyone who enters will have a truly magical time. We held our son and daughter in law's reception there less than year after we took ownership and finished a huge landscaping project to enable us to use every corner of our property. (We "needed" to create enough room play side by side corn hole games!) Since then, the landscaping continues with more to come. Our hope is to share our home so others can make lifetime memories just as we have. The space: Our 1910 modern farmhouse has been beautifully remodeled and fully equipped. Located on 1/3 of an acre, you will enjoy the entire home including our outdoor spaces which are equally inviting and beautifully landscaped. We have NEST heating, cooling, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, which are so simple to use and also very safe. Please see our Airbnb listing to see all the photos of our home. We are within 200 yards to Geneva Lake, the Lake Path (21.4 miles of public path around the lake and it's rich history.), The Abbey Resort and Spa, Gordy's Lakeside Marina and Chuck's, and Fontana Beach among others. We are on the quiet side of this iconic and beautiful spring fed lake. Our home and the entire area in Fontana is truly Americana to it's core.
